Cristiano Ronaldo May Join ‘Fast and Furious’ Finale, Says Vin Diesel
Hollywood star Vin Diesel has teased that football icon Cristiano Ronaldo could feature in the upcoming Fast and Furious film. Diesel, who also produces the blockbuster franchise, shared an Instagram photo with Ronaldo, revealing that a role has been written specifically for the soccer star.
Excitement Builds Among Fans
Diesel captioned the Instagram post: “Everyone asked, would he be in the Fast mythology… I gotta tell you, he is a real one. We wrote a role for him…” While Ronaldo’s appearance has not been officially confirmed, fans of both the franchise and the footballer are eagerly anticipating his possible involvement.
Returning to the Roots of Fast
The next film in the franchise is scheduled for release in April 2027. Diesel shared details of the final installment, emphasizing that it will bring his character, Dominic Toretto, back to Los Angeles and revisit the street racing culture that made the series famous.
According to Diesel, the third key element was the reunion of Dom and Brian O’Conner. “That is what you’re going to get in the finale.” This marks the return of Paul Walker’s character, Brian O’Conner, who passed away in 2013.
Honoring Paul Walker’s Legacy
Walker had not completed all his scenes for Fast and Furious 7 before his untimely death. Using CGI, VFX, and the help of Walker’s brothers, Cody and Caleb, filmmakers completed 350 shots to ensure Brian appeared in the final sequence. The scene showed Dominic and Brian sharing a heartfelt farewell before driving off in separate directions.
A Star-Studded Finale Ahead
If confirmed, Ronaldo’s cameo would add a unique twist to the Fast and Furious finale, blending Hollywood action with global sports stardom. Fans now eagerly await further announcements as production continues, anticipating one of the most exciting conclusions to the franchise.
